Mix of spices for Stampot Zuurkool (mashed potatoes with sauerkraut).
- 1.5 kg potatoes
- 500g sauerkraut
- 200ml milk
- Peel and wash the potatoes.
- Put potatoes and sauerkraut in a pan with a layer of water and cook for 25 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and sauerkraut, mash finely and stir with milk and a knob of butter until smooth.
- Add the mix and let the stew warm through and through.
- Do not add salt or pepper.
