Quick mix for classic Nasi Goreng (Dutch fried rice).



Preparation Time: Approx. 20 minutes
Cooking Time: Approx. 20 minutes


  • 1 package Silvo Kruidenmix voor Nasi Goreng
  • 400g (7/8 lb.) Nasi meat (i.e. cubed lean pork or ham, ground beef or ground pork)
  • 2 onions
  • 350g (12 1/3oz.) rice
  • 4 eggs
  • Oil or butter


  • Cook the rice.
  • Peel the onions and chop.
  • Cook the meat until brown in oil or butter.
  • Add the onions to the meat and fry till golden and soft.
  • Sprinkle the Silvo Nasi Goreng Mix over the meat & onions and stir well.
  • Add the cooked rice and stir together and on high heat.
  • Meanwhile fry the eggs sunny side up and layer on top of the Nasi (optional).

Do not add salt or pepper.
