  • 500 g hachee (stewing beef)
  • 2 medium onions, sliced (Not necessary, but adds extra taste!)


  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and stir fry meat for 1 minute on high.
  • Turn heat down to low and add 400 ml water and package contents to the meat.
  • Bring to a boil and allow to cook for a few minutes.
  • Cover the pan and turn heat to low.
  • Simmer for 2 1/2 hours, adding the onions for the last 1 1/2 hours.
