ADD:

  • 50g butter
  • 100g shredded cheese
  • 150ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced
  • 200g diced ham
  • 400g chopped broccoli

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

FOR THE BOTTOM:

  • Combine the bodemmix packet, 50g butter and 50ml water in a bowl.
  • Knead by hand or using a mixer with bread hooks, until dough forms a ball.
  • Allow to rest, covered with plastic wrap, 10 minutes at room temperature.
  • Spread dough evenly in a spring form pan or baking dish.

 

FOR THE FILLING:

  • Fry the chopped onion. Add the mushroom. Finally add the diced ham and broccoli. 
  • Drain any liquid and spread filling over the dough.

 

FOR THE SAUCE:

  • Combine 150ml milk, 3 eggs and sausmix in a deep bowl.
  • Beat for 2 minutes at the hightest speed.
  • Pour over the filling.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake at 400° (F) for 30-40 minutes, until knife inserted in centre comes out clean, and quiche is golden brown.
