  • Bring 200 ml water or vegetable broth to a boil.
  • Stir in 5 level tablespoons sauce mix and keep stirring until well mixed.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes and pour over prepared vegetables.


  • For a creamier sauce, substitute half the water or broth with milk.
  • Stir a tablespoon pesto through the sauce for an Italian flavour.
  • Add a tablespoon of chopped parsley or chives through the sauce.
