Mix for Dutch butter cake shortbread (boterkoek).
- 1 package Gwoon Boterkoekmix
- 185 g soft butter or margarine
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- Pre-heat oven to 350°. Place rack in middle position.
- Grease a 24 cm spring form pan.
- Combine the mix, butter or margarine and half the egg in a bowl.
- Beat with a mixer, preferably with dough hooks, until smooth.
- Spread dough over bottom of pan, pressing down lightly.
- Spread remaining egg over top of the dough.
- Bake 15-20 minutes, until golden.
