  • 500 g beef, cute in to bite size pieces
  • 300 g rice
  • Oil


  • Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan and cook the meat.
  • Add the boemboe and 300 ml water. 
  • Bring to a boil and place lid on pan.
  • Simmer 50 minutes on low heat.
  • Remove lid and let simmer 10 more minutes, until sauce thickens.
  • In the mean time, cook the rice according to package directions. Serve together.

Delicious with Boemboe Sajoer Boontjes (green beans).
