Spice paste for making spicy Indonesian beans.


  • 500g green beans
  • 300g rice
  • oil



  • Cook the rice according to package directions.
  • Cut the beans and cook for 5 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. 
  • Stir fry the beans for 2 minutes.
  • Add the Boemboe and 200ml water.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes on low, until the sauce has thickend.
  • Serve with the rice.

Delicious with Boemboe Ajam Paniki.
