  • 350 g chicken, cubed
  • 300 g rice
  • wok oil


  • Cook the rice according to package directions.
  • Heat 2 tbs oil in a wok or pan and cook the chicken.
  • Add the boemboe and 200 ml water. 
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Simmer 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve with the rice.

Delicious with Boemboe Sajoer Boontjes (green beans).
