Dutch Meatballs

Classic Dutch meatballs for soup or any dish!

Great taste, and minimal fuss is something everyone wants in a recipe. These meatballs are incredibly easy to prepare, and very versatile to use. Make them tiny for Dutch meatball soup, medium sized for a pasta dish, or large meal-sized. Any way you serve them, they are delicious!




1 lbs Ground Beef, Pork or Chicken (or use a combination!)
3 teaspoon Verstegen Mix voor Gehakt (Traditional or with Onions)
1 Dutch Rusk
1 Egg
1/4 Cup - 1 Cup Milk or Water (Adjust for desired consistency)


Mix all ingredients together and form into balls, whatever size you like. Cook in a frying pan on medium heat for 20-25 minutes, until browned and cooked through. (Beef and Chicken should be 165° F, Pork 145° F)
